Block Club Chicago, one of the city’s most respected hyperlocal newsrooms, just profiled Link Label Studios, the production space built by our team here at Link Creative. The feature traces how Link Label grew out of a makeshift podcast setup in our old Huron Street office. Client demand for editing and social clips is what turned that setup into a dedicated studio, and it’s a good example of how we operate as a Chicago content creation agency: building capabilities in-house as client needs grow, rather than outsourcing them.
Built In-House, Recognized Citywide
Our office at 350 W. Ontario St. now serves as both agency headquarters and home to Link Label’s three studio spaces: the Label Set for podcast recording, the Creator Studio for a brighter, more relaxed setting, and the Executive Studio for ads and scripted video. Founder and CEO Lorenzo Costa told Block Club Chicago that the goal is for people to “feel like they’re talent” the moment they walk through the door, whether they have four followers or four hundred thousand.
Why This Matters for Our Clients
Being a Chicago content creation agency with a production studio under the same roof means clients don’t get handed off between vendors for strategy, filming, editing, and distribution. What’s Next
Costa told Block Club Chicago that Link Label could eventually expand beyond River North to the North Shore, Naperville, and Milwaukee. For now, the focus stays on strengthening the in-house model that lets Link Creative offer strategy and production as one connected service rather than two separate ones.
